Spaghetti Sauce For Lasagna

2016-11-04 12:45:49 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

Absolutely nothing...!

The question could just as well be; "What is the difference between spaghetti sauce and spaghetti sauce" ?

Sauce of any kind is in the hands of whoever is cooking it. We have a little of this, so we throw it in. We don't have that, so we subsitute that. We don't have either ingredient, so we just leave it out... We don't like this, so we leave it out... We have always wondered how this would taste, so we throw it in...

Lasagna and spaghetti are both Italian pasta dishes and no two Italians (or Italian restaurants) make it the same do they ?

For mine, same basic sauce, but meat in the spaghetti sauce, and meat between the layers of pasta for the lasagna.

Noodles are pasta, but are usually flat. Ziti are tubes and spaghetti are long thin noodles, and both are pasta. Pasta is the italian word for noodles. Lasagne is pasta. You can also call it lasagne noodles.
