I am asking here---what does it really matter who believes in what? I do not know you, you do not know me, I am not going to your church on Sunday and you , not mine.
Is any of this comparing going to do anyone any good here on who is better than who? Is any of this slamming or opinions going to change how any of you really feel? I just see alot of people getting their frustrations out on each other. I do believe that any of you true beleivers of any God would not be pleasing him right now. What is the issue?

By the way , I am a Christian and do adore my Lord....however, I still say God would not not this trivial argument amongst his children. All will make their own way to their final destination.

Also, sorry, but I do agree on opinions and learning, it is just how everyone is handeling it. Slamming one another on this site is not going to convert anyone. Kindness and caring will!!!

,,,,I BELIEVE THAT EVERY ONE HAS A RIGHT TO THEIR OWN BELIEFS... EVEN IF A LOT OF PEOPLE FEEL THAT THEY ARE WRONG..... BUT ONE THING THAT YOU SHOULD NOT DO IS PROVE THEM RIGHT ... IF THEY TEST YOU,, MAKE FUN ,, WHO CARES,,, IF YOUR OWN FAITH AND BELIEFS ARE STRONG ENOUGH ,, THEN WHAT DOES IT MATTER .. . I JUST WISH THAT ALL WOULD JUST GET ALONG... THIS HAS ALL BEEN VERY SAD TO SEE.. AND IT HAS ALL GOTTEN WORSE NOW.. IN THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS... PEOPLE THAT I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER BE SO ASHAMED OF ,, AND THEY HAVE NOW BROUGHT SHAME ON THEMSELVES... ... WELL, PEACE TO ALL....

Yes it does matter. There is one overall looming thing that makes it all matter and that is Hell. Putting all the childish questions and bickering aside, the most serious issue in life is where will you spend eternity. Now most people would think that this isn't going anywhere, but the Holy Spirit of God, who knows all hearts, can take a mocker on YA and just through some little thing that is said, or some scripture that is quoted He can start that person seriously thinking about his own eternity and can result is a soul being saved from Hell and pointed to Heaven. It is well worth the battle if only one repents. 2 Timothy 2:25 "with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth..."

bunnylatte,
Not by opinion, but by scripture, is what makes me know what to believe in. If you are really a Christian, do you not read the Bible? You act as if you were ignorant of the whole thing. God is not a babbler. He says things that we nee to know! Like this for instance:
John 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
Jesus made a difference. And His words brought life to some, and death to others.

It matters because the difference is eternity in Hell vs. eternity in Heaven. Why do I care what happens to you ? Because as a Christian I am under the Great Commission, that is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ everyone I can. I am concerned about the choice you make because I don't want anyone to burn for eternity. It isn't about who goes to whose Church or who is better than whom. I am no better than anyone else, I am a lowly sinner saved by the grace of God through Jesus Christ. I pray you will come to know Him before it is eternally too late.

It matters because out of the multitude of Q & A in this forum occasionally we get a bit of information that really helps us understand each other and respect each other's differences and realize a few similarities. One correct question or answer may actually change a person's life forever, which is not a bad thing.
Debate is good.

What religion are you? This site is for people who want to ask others about religious beliefs. That is THE purpose for this site. It's not about who's better than anyone, for me at least. Some of the people on this site are sad people who need to put down others because they themselves have found no reason to be other than to come here every night and make fun of people. Other people come here because they have legitimate questions that need answering.

It may not matter who believes in what, but what harm are we doing to each other if we choose to disagree on certain topics?
We are all here voluntarily, and we are all deciding which questions we want to answer and how we want to answer them.
We are are exercising our God given "freewill". It should not be considered harmful to another...no-one is being forced into anything. There is no issue!

I agree with you. I don't believe it's how we worship or where. It all comes down to if we believe. I think we should. All bibles are generally the same. They all tell you there is One God and that through him we are saved. The name of the religion is just that- a name.

It doesn't.
At least it shouldn't.
It's like the gay marraige thing.
If your not directly involved, why should you care?
Your not the one getting married.
If they want to marry, I say let them.
Who Cares?
They're not bothering anybody.
Let them be happy.
Get over it!
That's my opinion.
Religion is not important to me one way or another.
I believe in God, but I'm not religious. I hope that makes sense.
I refuse to beleive we came from apes.
Aliens mabey.
Apes/Monkeys are still walking around.
If we "evolved"from them, they wouldn't still be here.
We'll that's my piece.
Thanks for letting me vent.
I also think we are WAY too smart to be evolved from apes!

It doesn't matter to me. I don't proselytize. I just ask and answer questions as honestly as I can. If people ask how I believe, I will tell them.
