what are the things that girls do to make a certain guy fall for them? i mean what are the qualities that guys fall for in girls? do girls need to communicate with them regularly? visit them? hang-out with them?

Id say its all bout showing interest in what they find interesting. Guys love a girl that can sit and watch sports with them. A Chick that can get along with their mates and a chick that doesnt constantly whine about how she looks in those jeans... or her hair...

very interesting question, usually that would depend on the type of guy you like, however most of us are always attracted to innitiative, confidence, wits, friendly and fun loving girls. On the other hand most guys dislike whining, easy girls(that doesnt mean they wont wham em if they have the chance),hard to get(don't play to hard to get cause that may pull him at first but push him later) snotty or arrogant.
So in other words find things to do with him, give him some company on what he likes and always keep things interesting, dont be to clingy nor to distant. It's all about balance.

Also one tip I always try to send around...don't be so cryptic in showing you like him and be consistent we don't like it when girls try to confuse us of wether they like us or not.
