What did you feel at the time? Did you feel like this experience was from God? If you were a non-believer, did it change you in any way? Why do you think God chose you?

I have had three spiritual experiences. Going to Heaven in a dream, lites coming on when I asked God to come to me, and a white transparent being, no face, long white gown, standing before me, being able to see through him and the room, but was in a dream state. I saw the room exactly as it was, I was semi awake, and remembered later what I had seen. Another woman saw the same thing 5 yrs ago, exactly the same, that I knew in church. We both do not know what it meant.

shardf,
"Have you ever been visited by a "spiritual being"?"
I have had visits from both. Long story. My first from God that I can point to is when I was alone and prayed the Sinner's Prayer. It's mnot at all like when visits came from the "other side."

"Why do you think God chose you?"
I told Him how stupid I am. So I don't know. But I think that He has been a good teacher. He got more out of me than I thought that I could do. And then there is the verse, " God's is my Strength" and "There is strength in weakness." If I am paying attention, God is my Strength, and my Peace.

It would possibly not come via in typed textual content like this, however this little utterance from my daughter -- 2-and-a-part on the time -- made the hair rise up at the again of my neck. Immediately following an hour of silence in a Quaker assembly, I was once having a talk with a professor of method philosophy. Process philosophy perspectives all "matters" as parties -- i.e., all nouns as verbs -- and all attributes as adverbs. So, for instance, "a crimson chair" is known to be "a chair-ing redly." My daughter joined us from the nursery, and took a seat on my lap. I was once suggesting to the professor that there's simplest ONE occasion, one Verb, and all out of the ordinary occurrences are that Event in a specified manner -- it is all adverbial. And, considering that adverbs can adjust different adverbs, the whole thing in our enjoy has the skills of being that one Event lovingly, even supposing we are in a foul temper, as in (my title being David) I am That Event David-ingly angrily lovingly. Kind of an inept mouthful, I realize, however then my daughter summed up the entire dialog in her 2-12 months-historical manner, via watching at me and announcing, "Hunky-dory is how the whole thing is Make." .

I have seen and heard God in a dream and yes it changed my believe drastically....How did I feel? It can't be put into words exactly but I was awestruck and afraid and in wonder,etc..I do not know why I was chosen but I am eternally grateful that he did show me he exists at a stage in my life where I was doubting His existance...I was 15 then and am 42 now and have experienced many of His miracles since then...
