I view it as fun. But with a person you truly love? Yes, it can be very spiritual. That's what Beltane is all about, isn't it? *wink*
And Mountain Dew was released nationwide in 1964. It was first marketed locally in 1948.

Mountain Dew and Sex are god given powers of great invigoration!
I suppose sex can be very spiritual for some folks.... I've always viewed it as more of a senseless slamming together of two horny people... kind of random and pointless....
.... I still do it though.... I do the dew too....
Sex is not for procreation only though. I never really bought into that.... I think that was started as a manipulation to get Christians and Muslims to promote their religions through their offspring. If people had sex only to create some kids then women would remain equal to workhorses and there would be alot of kids born into "the lifestyle".
Keep the book out of my bedroom.... that's what I say.

It can be with the right person. It must be because all the women call for God when I visit them. *snigger*.
Seriously, there is a spirituality in the sensual passions of sex with someone you love, and conversely a feeling like crap when you shag someone you DON"T love...especially when it's time to dump them.
Sex and orgasm are a deep need that should be shared. Achieving orgasm or helping someone else achieve orgasm without regard to yourself can cement a relationship. Sexual tension can create closeness if people listen to their partner's body as well as their own.
Yes, I view it as spiritual.
( Mountain Dew was introduced in 1948, then nationwide in '64, and the "look's like Pee" jokes have since flowed freely.)

Yes, I do see sex and orgasm as spiritual. How could one not? It's a moment of extremely heightened intensity, in which one is opened to a different level of awareness. There is the intense feeling of love and pleasure, and a profound connection with another human being. I've had experiences that I'd describe as approaching mysticism during sex.

The 1940s.
Orgasm is a physical thing. How could it be spiritual if animals and birds and even fish get them. The Bible says that they have no soul. I don't put much faith in the Bible (hehe) but as far a spiritual things go... why not?

All of life except what is sin is spriritual to me.
Hugs. Eating. Sex.
Everything.
I define spiritual in an older way
I don't define it as = supernatural
I use a biblical definition where spiritual = truly real.
So when you are being compassionate, truly human, doing good things, then you are doing spiritual things.

It's basically scratching an itch in the pit of the human anatomy, but a bond can be formed if it is done between two people in love.
