and if you blow on their face with your mouth they turn away in disgust?

There probley is no real answers. It can hurt there hearing but I guess they just like to feel the wind going throught there ears. :]

The air you breath on their faces is a more localised breeze whereas the wind they get from sticking their faces out a moving car is an all over breeze. Different feelings and experiences, that's all. PLus the air we breath is a lot hotter to a dog than the cool breeze from a car rushing through the atmosphere

I just think they like the excitement of going very fast and having a fresh breeze blowing in their face. I think they feel as if they are running at top speed. Blowing in their face just doesn't give them the same feeling.

It's not the wind that is attractive to them. It's the smells that they are picking up from the air. Dogs love to sniff and smell. Any new or different odor to them is an attraction. A dogs sense of smell is there primary sense Second is Hearing and then eye sight.

The wind in their faces delivers so many wonderful scents, but when one blows in their face, they might find one's breath objectionable.

it's got to do with all the smells out there that are different to the ones they smell eveyday and hey would you like some one blowing in your face with the food and drinks that they can't have no
