November is the end of "na fun" (the rainy season). It won't get cold (i.e., ~20 C or 68 F) until mid - late December. That's "na nao" (the cold season) and it only lasts for a week at the most (in Bangkok anyway). It'll still be well into the 30's C (90 F up) in November but it should be dry.

Noverber for this year 06, Right now I think it just passed the periods of hard rain, once it arrived to November I think it would be no more rain.

at that month (especially this year) it will starting to cold (mostly are in the northern part of Thailand) i.e. Chiangmai, Chiangrai, Lumpoon, Lumpang.. for Bangkok it just windy not too cold approximately 22-28 degree C... If you wana go to the northern part especially on the paramount ("doi" = Hight mountain) you may see the interesting ting Thai people know it widely as "Mae-Ka-Ning" it is the dew become ice covered on the leaf....

I think November 2006. is quite good to take a chance to visit Thailand.. because it is not peak season yet (Just shoulder season) ..... I recommended it..

Bangkok should be getting into the cool season in Nov. First week is Loy Krathong and this usually signals the end of the rainy season. So weather should be fine. Plus the cold weather from North Asia drift southward bringing cool temperature to the region, even Bangkok. So should be good to visit then.

Well, considering that I live in the tropics too, I would dare to day Bangkok would be considered as warm during November to fellas livin' in the temperate countries (Europe, States or Antartica).

< Warm > i.e. 25 - 33 degrees C throughout the year - for specifics research on the internet... (assuming you used the net to post this question in the first place... ;-> no pun intended)

the season in Thailand right now is high season, it is not peak season yet, this will accure around DEC into Jan. there is also the festival of the moon going on right now, so things are a little more expensive than normal, but Thailand is still a good value.
