I had unprotected sex a day or so before i started ovulating. he came in me. a few days later i started getting cramps similar to mentral cramps but they were different. they lasted until i started my period which came early, was lighter than normal and shorter also. could these be signs that i'm pregnant?

To ease your mind, take a pregnancy test. They're worth the 5 to 10 dollars you'll spend to just be sure. Secondly, unprotected sex is very dangerous. I'm 20 years old and was surprised when my boyfriend refused to have unprotected sex with me even after several months. It wasn't until we both got tested for STDs and I got on the pill that we had unprotected sex for the first time, and even then, major trust issues come into play because if either of us has unprotected sex outside of the relationship, the measures we've taken to ensure our safety are pointless. Most of the sex we have is still protected by a condom. If your boyfriend loves you, he won't mind. If the condoms really bother you, both of you should really get tested. Although I am pro-choice, I'd never have one myself, but a baby CAN be (not saying should be, or would be in your case AT ALL) aborted. However, AIDS cannot be aborted. Herpes cannot be aborted, HPV cannot be aborted and can keep you from ever having children.
I'll get off my soap box now. :) :)
Hope my answer helped, wishing you all the best in either case.

my take on the question is that no you are not pregnant. yes, he came into you but you still had your period which would not normally would occur if you were to be pregnant but at the same time it takes a while for the sperm to penetrate inside the egg if my memory serves me right with all those science classes that i had to take. the cramps, the period and everything else tells you that you are not even though you had a lighter period. if you are still worried wait and take one of those pregnancy tests or go and have a blood test done by your physician.the blood work is more accurate in all cases vs. the over the counter tests. i hope that i was of help.

I doubt that you are pregnant since you had cramping and a period, even if it was lighter than usual. But you can take a home pregnancy test. And unless you want to get pregnant. Use birth control.

Honey, the only way your going to know for sure is a home pregnancy test or by going to your physician. Everyone's pregnancy is different, so no one can really give your a yes or no answer here. For your body, it could be a sign. Take a test and I wish you the best of luck for whatever the outcome is.

Hey gals,
A light bleeding is normal during the first stages of pregnancy. This is a sign of your hormones levels falling. I'm pretty sure cramps are normal too.

Yes but take a test to be sure. Wait about 3 days before you take the test.

it doesn't sound like you are. when you get pregnant you don't normally get cramps in the begining.
