Anyone know of a free website that matches a person's beliefs with a religion? I have tried tickle, but they want money for a full report. I am in the preliminary stages of religious discovery, so web sites are what I am comfortable with for now. Please do not espouse your beliefs upon me when you provide your suggestions.Thanks for your suggestions.

If I embraced a belief that expressed my personality and self, I would have become a nihilist. It is my nature to feel that all is hopeless and meaningless. Faith in Christ continually draws me away from that to something better, to a belief that people do matter---warts and all--and that what I do as an individual has an effect upon the universe. And, that no matter how bad things are now, there is something in motion that will bring us to a better realm and place than we can imagine now, both as individuals and a species. However, I could see a person making the argument that me being drawn to Christianity was expression of the part of myself that struggled against nihilism, even without knowing that part of me existed.

Respectfully: The only way to find a religion that perfectly matches your beliefs is to create your own religion like Henry VIII who started the Church of England. Searching for a religion is a search for truth not a search for compatibility. Most likely the truth will change your worldview and force you to change your way of thinking. Good luck.
