What are the best replacement speakers for my truck(F-150)?

I have been looking for some good speakers to replace my factory speakers. Which ones do you recommend?

bose is crap, and anyone who said bose, has no clue what there talking about in the car audio world. personally i would go with boston acoustics speakers. or some other great brands are pioneer premier, kenwood excelon, eclipse, and mb quart. however you will find none of those at best buy.

Odds are you have 6x8/5x7 speakers in your truck. If you want to keep the same size that is in the vehicle then your best bet would be either Infinity, Polk Audio, or Eclipse - great speakers at a decent price. MTX and Kicker also make a good speaker at a reasonable price. If you want to dish out some money and go high end, all of the above make fantastic high end speakers, also Focal and Boston. Another option in that truck is to replace the fron 6x8/5x7 speaker with either a 5.25 or 6.5 component system and then 6x8/5x7 in the rear. If you do this, all the above companies are great, also for components the Pioneer rev series, RF, and JL are good.

Then after all that it comes down to - is it still the factory radio? are you gonna change that out? are you gonna add a sub or subs? what kind of music do you listen to and how do you listen to your music (blast it, easy listening, a little of both)?

Bose ROCKS except for the price,
I am partial to Pioneer, and Sony myself,
but speakers from an Infinity system would be very cool!

bose is great, but i dont think they sell to private parties as far as car audio goes. Infinity is probably next best.
