,Scalloped potatos the easy way:
Ingredients:
4 large potatos, peeled and sliced thickly
Pepper and salt
Grated parmesan cheese
Cream or milk
Butter
Method:
Place the potato slices in a buttered gratin dish so they are slightly overlapping. Pack them in so they sit up at an angle.
Mix the cream with pepper and salt and some of the parmesan.
Pour the mixture over the potatos. Move them a little so the mixture gets between the slices.
Sprinkle the remaining parmesan and some knobs of butter over the potatos.
Cover lightly with cooking foil and cook in a hot oven for
about 30-40 mins.
Uncover and cook further until the potatos are golden brown on top.
Makes a great side dish with steak.

I make mine in my crockpot and I don't really have a recipe.

Basically I slice my potatoes, make a layer of them at the bottom of the crockpot, then I had a layer of velveeta cheese, and then a layer of sliced ham. (Although smoked sausage is good too). Then I repeat the layers all the way to the top. I add a little bit of milk to the crockpot and let it cook. I go and stir it every so often as well so nothing sticks.

Turns out nice and cheesy :)
