I just feel overwhelmed with so much going on in my life and I feel as though I am spending more time worrying of how the house looks and less time playing with my kids.

Only you can decide if it is worth it. Why do you want one, more time or just hate doing the stuff? What would you do with the extra time, where would the money come from? But I think the biggest thing to consider is can you handle someone in your house going through your stuff (just during regular work, not being nosey). Do you want someone washing your undies? Will you be home while the housekeeper is there? Then will you feel comfortable with them around or will you feel lazy or guilty? Will you be able to do what you want to do while they are there? Talk while someone is around? If you won't be there how trusting are you? I believe the invasion of privacy is the biggest issue.

I have house cleaner come once a month for $65 (about 5 hours work). Its totally worth it for me. If you are able to .....get it. That way you can spend less time stressing about cleaning the house and more time with your kids with stress free mind and clean house.

I like doing my own things around the house. Having a stranger touching my things is an uncomfortable thought.

I have a house cleaner and it is worth every penny. When you come home from a long day at work, and every inch of your house is clean....even things you don't normally clean....are clean. Do it. It's worth it.
