Why does God waste His time on people who are going to die anyway instead of raining sulfur or turn rivers into blood?

You are reading fiction. True stories are never as exciting.

Personally people being healed of illnesses only by a touch He can do is so much more amazing than any of the other miracles. I have known people to be healed of brain tumors, comas, etc. All because God's people were faithful. As miraculous as God's healing was, the bigger miracle were the one's that came to Christ because of their testimony.

asilos_magdalena,
The important thing is to believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. God does the miracles, and we that are in faith of Him, will be living forever with Him. Look at this bit of scripture:
John 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
30 I and my Father are one.

We don't die. Our flesh will pass away, but our spirit belongs to Him. As He was resirrected, so we also will be resurrected.

He promised.

The Bible is made up BS!
And everyday stuff happening all around us, is MORE miraculous than anything in it, plus real to boot!

Because no one believes as strongly. He wastes his time because death matters not and there is an afterlife. Think about what would happen if no one died. Overpopulation.

How do we know the Bible is not exaggerated in the first place.
No matter what religion one believes, it is our personal experiences today that matter most.

Because (bad grammar on my part ;)) He is merciful and patient, and because of that some (the gate is narrow and few are the ones who find it) are saved.
