There's a guy at my church that I am interested in but have not talked with formally---(We'll call him J.R.)

Anyway another guy (We'll call him J.F.) and his family were announced by the pastor as distinguished visitors. J.F. is a freshman at a Distinguished College, and I happen to go to another Distinguished College across the street.

Anyway I introduced myself to J.F. just to be nice to say (hey I go to a neaby college), BUT His parents got so excited that they wanted me to take pictures with him ----So I once again obliged to be nice.

Anyway, J.R., (whom I have a crush on) happened to walk by and J.F.'s mother asked him to take our (me and J.F.'s) picture.

NOOOOOO!!!-----My crush took the picture of Just me and J.F. (it was like a couple's picture)

NOWWW!!!----J.R. probably thinks that me and and J.F. will be a possible couple---NOOOOO!!!! I'm NOT Taken!!! I'll look unavailable to J.R.

I was just trying to be nice and it stabbed me in the back!!!

"Distinguished College" is simply code for specific universities which shall remain nameless to protect private information

I didn't realize that being photographed constituted a relationship. Hell, get a divorce, tear up the picture.

If J.R. is interested in you, he'll ask you out. Otherwise it is just conversation. A man knows what he wants. Besides, you might be much better off with J.F. if he has desire to be with you whereas J.R. may not even give a damn about you.

I don't think you were stabbed in the back, you were reward with man who likes you and wants to spend time with you. He sounds like a real nice guy.

Tell JR how embarrassed you were that JF's parents wanted you to take your pictures with him! And laugh it off like, "That's what I get for just saying hi, and hey we go to school near each other" Then ask him if he's ever had the same thing happen, and ask his advice on how to handle it. Start a friendship with him, and who knows where it will lead!

Good luck!

You should just go up to J.R. and tell him that your interested and at the same time available. If he happens to ask about the picture incident. Then explain it to him clearly and tell him exactly what had happened. Hopefulyl he'll be interested too, Good luck!

You're question sounds like a soap opera.

Maybe breaking it down into chapters will make it easier for you to come up with a solution for yourself.

don't worry. just get over it and move on like it never happened. go after the guy you like and if he ever asks you about it, well then you'll have your chance to explain yourself.
