They ARE ILLEGAL. It wouldn't be the first time they have lied to pimp their cause, would it? Remember these other lies like: 1. This is really their country. (yeah, that's why they had to SNEAK IN) 2. They are only Native Americans who speak Spanish. (what a joke and an insult to Native Americans, who refute this all the time) 3. They only want a better life (a life of lying, cheating and stealing, while insulting the hand that feeds them) and the best of all....4. They pay taxes (They think because they pay sales tax that 'they pay taxes')
Lying is what they know. Not surprising coming from criminal trespassers.

I think that it is the illegal supporters trying to bend & twist the truth to make an illegal action not so bad. If you enter America without proper documentation and by following the laws to enter legally (under the cover of darkness doesn't seem above board to me) then you have broken the law by entering illegally.
If I were to enter you home without permission & set up residence would I be commiting a crime? & the second you said for me to leave I started giant protests & made up all sort of propaganda as to why I could live in your home, though I had no right....
Way back when folks used to come through Ellis Island they were required to have certain requirements. & if they didn't pass, well they got sent back on the boat - better luck next time. That made coming here a privilege. It also ensured that we knew who was here & where. Now folks wander in willy-nilly & yes, bad people will take horrible advantage of them, or they are very undesirable & not someone anyone would want for a neighbor (drug dealer, murderer, etc). I would also think that folks who filed all the paperwork & waited their turn must feel pretty annoyed at line jumpers.
I feel for illegal immigrants, that their lives were so horrible back where they came from. But what I don't get is why when asked (I live in an area where we are rich in illegals & often have asked them how they like being here in the past) they want to go back as soon as possible, don't want to be an American, fight for America or even integrate into the melting pot. So, that bad attitude kind of limits my empathy.
So I feel if an illegal wants to be here so badly, they should pay a fine for their breaking of the law, & do some form of community service, learn the language & speak it (it's rude not to), and sign up for military service. I don't think that is too much to ask.

Pro- illegal advocates can say anything. That doesn't mean anything. They leave out a whole on the facts.
It is illegal to enter the country but it isn't a crime. It isn't even crime to GET false ID. But, it is a crime to use a false Id for work to get benefits any thing one does to benefit himself or others using false id is a CRIME.
When someone enters the country not thur the ports of entry they are illegal entries and the person is an illegal alien. When one comes in on a visa and over stays it they are undocumented aliens and that is also illegal. Simple as that. Those are the facts!

Your question is a misrepresentation 8 USC 1325, which never uses the term "illegal" in any of the provisions. Rather, section 1325 states that improper entry into the united states by an alien will be punishable by fines. There are no deportation provisions and there are no provisions dictating the status of such an improper entry. Therefore, the "illegal" immigrants in this country are no more illegal than a driver speeding on the freeway above the speed limit is an illegal driver.

The supporters are clearly lying and just want something to bitc* about. They just want to make excuses for them because the media has played with people's emotions on the subject.
Well there are plenty of poor, homeless, hungry people here but no one would ever stand for supporting any illegal activities from them. People here actually DONT want to help the people that are already here and have it rough.

I grew up with racism towards brown skin Mexicans in south Texas back in the 60s. Racism that still exists today. You may pick fruit white boy but the majority of the pickers have always been brown skin Mexicans or hispanics.

Why can't the politicians, including the bush-league quit calling them things like "undocumented immigrants"?
Remember two years ago, he wanted to give them citizenship, or so he told them in his semi-Spanish speeches. Now he wants a bracero program.
None of this is about law or about people. It's about cheap labor and votes.

The reference is about semantics. They're saying a person cannot be "illegal"; only that they are here illegally.
