Never got hate mail for asking a question but got some mail where people were pretty upset about my response to their question. But then after we emailed each other we were able to set our differences aside and now we email each other quit frequent. Don't let it get to you. You have a right to your questions and your answers. Some people just can't handle the truth or can't take it when someone is very opinionated. So keep on being yourself and standing for what you believe in.

I don't ask enough questions for it, but I've defenitely gotten some hate mail for my answers. The funniest thing is some people don't even say what answer they're complaining about! So I'm left there confused for a bit, wondering what in the world they're ranting about.

My fan-mail to hate-mail ratio is about 2:1, so I have no real complaints, though I'm racking up violation notices at an alarming rate - I think I have an hostile stalker, who thinks that he is a ninja, and is clearly threatened by my presence on this board.

hell------ if I do not get hate mail from one of my questions. Then I know I must be having a good day.

I would say half of my questions and answers have been reported as abuse and removed.

Just to get these people back, I use to copy and paste the hate mail into a new question.... But then that would get reported as abuse.

and hell... it was not even my writings....

I wouldn't call it hate mail, but I've definitely gotten some weird mail.

Not really a hate mail, but I got a mail in which people tried to express their arguments to me. If you don't want to get mails like that, than you can chose in yahoo to hide your email.

No.

And that will never happen to me, as I don't have my e-mail address on display. I haven't even been on Yahoo Answers for a week, but I already know that I will NEVER display my e-mail address... there are too many lunatics over here!

Once and it was a question about Halloween of all things. This guy wanted to know why Christians celebrated a pagan holiday and i wrote , we are not celebrating some ritualistic pagan thing, we are just dressing up and acting silly.I also said i don't understand why so many people have to make it about religion, just relax and have fun. He went nut's.By the way Happy Halloween!

No. No hate mail due to people not seeing profile.

I don't let people see my email's so I don't get email's. It's automatically known that somebody will not always be happy with some of your question's. That's why I choose to not have my email address shown to other's. that's why I wish we could pick and choose who we wanted our email address shown too but we can't.
