Most Christians claim that the devil is not omnipresent and not everywhere at the same time. To get around this problem, a network of demons is proposed who do the devil's bidding. How many demons are there?

If there aren't enough demons to go around, could some people be uninfluenced by the devil?

Do demons take breaks?

Maybe when someone goes to sleep, a demon moves on to another person that wakes up! This would maximize efficiency, and maybe decrease the number of necessary demons! Maybe only 4 billion demons are necessary.

My point is that when I think "impure" thoughts about sex, drugs, or even punching someone in the face, it has nothing to do with demons or the devil.

It's neurology. When I think about sex, it's due to hormones. When I think about punching someone in the face, it's because of anger and the aggressive part of the limbic system in my brain.

For the devil to influence me, he'd have to be part of my brain structure.

No. you have a bad case of the seven deadly sins. Deadly because after your death if you don't get rid of these faults you will go to hell. The deadly sins are GREED-LUST-ANGER-PRIDE-ENVY-GLUTTONY-SLOTH and they come from the inspiration of demons that are let out of hell to tempt men and women. For example you could look at a woman in a good way and say she is pretty or you could lust after her and imagine sex with her. Most people today have this problem of lust, your enslaved by the demon, can't stop thinking about lust-sex-body-parts........you can't dominate yourself and go one day without thinking about sex. Or you may have a problem with some or all the other deadly sins.
Demons don't take breaks. Its a constent battle against evil. After all, as only a few still know, the demons give pleasure, but for a price....your soul....to be with them after death so they can torture you for eternity. Never ending pain. I have a thick book in my library called "The Dogma of Hell" written by various scholars, theologans, and saints throughout the history of the world. Hell.....you don't want to go there. If one demon were to apear on earth his stench would be enough to wipe out the human race. The devices of torture....another interests chapter. Pain. Pain. forever. Did you know the fire in hell is black? God separated the light from hell fire because light is beautiful...there is nothing beautiful in hell. You know nothing of hell and demons. Christian that say that demons aren't everywhere have they're head up they're***** they are so numerous they would block out the sun. All that is in heaven is fighting for your soul and so is all that is in hell. Its easy to go to hell...its not easy to be good, patient, moral, kind, pure and just,... to go to heaven. I have a test for you.....try not to cuss for a day.....are you in control of yourself? ......can you do it. .....98 percent of people can't. No self control. I doubt you can. Well.....have your fun now.....but I'm 100 percent certain you'll pay forever in the next life.

>>"For the devil to influence me, he'd have to be part of my brain structure."<<

actually this is precisely it.

"The Devil" as many people know it... is merely a personification of the negative aspects of human nature.

Demons are a different story. these are more like negative entitys that can do various things, different from the abilitys of humans, some more powerful, some MUCH more powerful, but many far less as well.

its quite different than you seem to think it is.

>>"My point is that when I think "impure" thoughts about sex, drugs, or even punching someone in the face, it has nothing to do with demons or the devil."<<
I *mostly* agree. the border here is when one things about things like rape, forcing drugs on someone, or punching someone in the face, with their head against the ground, over and over until their brain is leaking out.

THOSE things ARE what could be said to be "inspired" by more evil things.

I'm sure you can see the distinction.

Your glass is part empty. When people are worried, perfection or utopia isn't viable, it is only a target to try for. You select to seem on the planet the best way you do ... the query is, alternatively than complaining, what are you able to do to make it a bigger position? What are you able to do to aid any one much less lucky? The answers are practical ... and so they begin with each and every folks.

I think a few of the people I work with are probably demons. Maybe I should throw some holy water on them.
