He told my sister that he REALLY likes me and wants to ask me to this thing but I don't know when he's gonna ask me.......so what should I do in the mean time?

Ask him. If he says no, get away because he's a dishonest scumbag. If he says yes, isn't that what you want? Do you mind that he told your sister? Maybe he's trying to find out if you want to go without pressuring you by asking?

Ask him to the prom. If he wants to go with you, he'll say yes, and if he doesn't he'll never ask you, but if you ask him at least you won't have to wait around wondering. If you're afraid of rejection, just remember that might be the reason he's not asking, and might never ask. At least you know he told your sister he REALLY likes you.

Find a date, When and if he ever gets up the courage to ask, let him know you are going with someone else and never keep you waiting again, This will teach him a lesson on how to treat and respect you and you will not have to go thru this waiting game again. You do know the hard to get routine, right? stop acting so desperate

Incase ur sister made it up.. go to him and say ''my sister tld me that you want to ask me to prom??''
wait for him to answer if he gets all nervous and shy yeah he did.... then if not then no..
So y dont u ask him?
