I want to see a talking flaming bush, people that get swallowed by whales and come out alive to tell the story, a boat big enough to contain two specimen of every species on earth, people turning into salt, two fish and a cup of wine become a feast for thousands and yeah, I wouldn't mind hearing the voice of God or some angel -not that "he speaks through your heart" stuff, but an actual voice!
Anyone else?

Wow.. for starters, you have to have alot more faith than you do because the flaming bush is not just a bush on fire that is talking! It is just one way that God used to get Moses' attention! He paid attention to the voice and knew that it was God talking to him! Jonah was swallowed by a whale (fish) because he was hiding from God and wanted to disappear, but it was not his time to die! He had much more work to do yet... and came back to do it! Noah's ark was built to house the righteous people in Noah's family and to save all the animal species to repopulate the earth when the flood would wash all the disbelievers away... It was that wicked then.... If you really want a miraculous event to occur, then what about the modern day events, the tsunami, the tidal waves, floods, earthquakes and hurricanes that we have had this past few years! It sounds alot like some Bible times to me! Do you want to ask for a sign... read about what happens to some who are testing God and ask for a sign? It's not always a good idea... especially if you are mocking or insincere about it!
If you had enough faith and prayed to your heavenly father on a regular basis, you would definitely hear his voice... it has happened on a few occasions.. but not just out of curiosity! If he has a purpose for speaking with a prophet, or some other person then he will make it known... I am sure of that! Good luck!

God does speak through an actual voice... but only when it is necessary... like really necessary...
As for angels, humans see them often... typically in times of dire need or in times of spiritual warfare...
Just because you don't hear of the crazy things happening doesn't mean they don't.
Our jobs as Christians are to walk in faith and to not gain faith from God our the miracles we preform through him.
You should read the book, "He Came to Set the Captives Free" by Rebecca Brown.
She is into spiritual warfare, and thus experiences the crazy often.
Also, another reason it is less crazy then it used to be is because the time of geocataclysmic miracles by God was the time of the old testament.
The time of the new testament, which we are still in, is a time of humans choosing more, and God interfering the same, but it is more a choice of our own.
If you want to see the crazy, start talking to God about how you want to serve him through spiritaul warfare, although you must prepare yourself and you must be very strong and wise. Because you will never be prepared for what you will see.
So think strongly about this matter before asking for it.

Read all about The Fatima miracles that happened in the turn of the century in Fatima Spain. Big time miracle that they hardly talk about at all because the Media decides who and what they will talk about and if they talked about it they would be plugging the Catholic Church and they don't want to do that because some people might become Catholic and be saved and the Devil is behind them so they absolutely will not talk about Fatima. And while your at it look up the miracles and stuff that happened at Lourdes France. Exciting stuff.

Those things happen still, it's just simply that they don't get much publicity because so many shrug them off as fantasy. As far as hearing the actual voice of God or an Angel, even in that bible that happened minimally because God wants us to have blind faith, as that is the best type of faith.
But, check out this article, and it will have links to some more stories of those "crazy things" similiar to what happened in the bible happening today.

excellent question.
Because we have education and science now. Through out the years, peoples recognises that there are people who make things up and blow things out of proportion. Now many people are asking for proof.
Not that there isn't any "holy" or "incredible" stories every once in a while. But as long as such stories shows up, there will be media and scientific people get over there and ask for the proof and reasons. More often than others, they found it to be hoax or there are scientific explanations.

If you wont to understand and see miracles you have to believe and except it. If you wont something to critics you will find something to critics. All thing are possible to those that believe. Oh, don't put a limit on what God can do. Read your Bible in Revelation you will see where the scriptures are being fulfilled, this very day the scriptures is being fulfilled.

i saw a documentary on the North African coast and there is a tree there that has oil in it leaves and actually catches fire all by it self and then the seeds pop out and it needs to do this to make new bushes, so if you want to see a burning bush then you might have to spend a long time siting and waiting next to one of them bushes but i dont think they talk.

Well if you truely love, and have faith in God, then what other proof do you need. This story is my honest to God truth. My great grandmother was a very strong Catholic. She loved God with all her heart. She had a son named Francese and he was crippled, and he was mentaly ill. My great grand mother prayed to God with all her heart for him not to be no longer crippled, and he was not crippled any longer. He stood up, and started walking, and it ended up in the newspaper during the 1950's it happend. Maricles happen every day. no mater what.

Well I believe that time, He was making Himself known. Then we were told to have faith.We are not supposed to question or doubt just have faith.He gave enough miracles to last always. However, you bet your sweet bippie. I would love to see the Red sea parted or the Nile red or what did the tenth plague look like? Wow!
