well it depends on how much fat "energy" you have stored in your stomach because when you are not giving your system anymore food "energy" it starts using up what you have stored so if you are really chubby then you will be able to be without food than others who arent also water is needed i would say the most you can go without water is a week but if you always going to be outside and exposed to the sun all the time then 4-5 days because youll end up dehydrating. i hope i helped answering your question. good luck

To live with out food, it all depends on the individual and the amount of "stored Energy". but a healthy person could go a week or so with out fool.
Now H2o is a different story, a person can only last a few days with out water. And depending on the surrounding temp and conditions, that could be less!

after 6-7 days without water your body systems start to shut down. You can go months without food but without water you would be dead in 7-10 days.

The correct answers are one week without water and two weeks without food. Two lads survived for two weeks locked in a freight car but they survived. The car was loadded with empty Beer Bottles. They survived on the dregs left in the bottles. (lucky for them.) Beer is essentially a food. It is made from Barley which also has Vitamins. Don't try it though, it isn't worth it. The environment must be not severely hot and not severely cold.

This depends on the question you are asking. I have not "eaten or drank" through my mouth in six years. Thanks to cancer. I will be on liquids pumped directly into my stomach, as I do not have a food or a wind passage. This is for the rest of my life - so I do not know if this really answers your question

A lot depends on the metabolism of the person who is not eating or drinking. I have worked with hospice for a very long time and I have had pts who have not eaten, drank or had any IV fluids last for 7-9 days.
It is my personal opinion, when a pt has congestive heart failure or an excess of fluid on their body for whatever reason, they can sustain themselves for a very long time without water.
I think it is because they have so much excess fluid on board, they just sustain off of it.
