A little more info: we are only going to be there one night, on our way back from a week in Maui. So looking more for a hotel.

We love the Outrigger Reef, right on the beach at Waikiki. It has the only restaurant on the beach, the Shorebird, and is a few blocks from the Int'l Marketplace, other shopping and major restaurants.

On the airplane. Unless you like being victimized for everything from having your purse ripped from your arm to non forceable entry to being mugged in broad daylight. Good luck on your trip.

stay in the Hale koa hotel or the ohana hotels. If your in the military, there are hotels that have discounts for that. try www.hotels.com
