Yes you have a soul. But in order to believe you have a soul, you would have to believe that there is a God who created your soul. And I believe there is a God......a loving one who allows us the freedom to choose how we live our lives. Which would explain why there is evil in this world and people hurt people. A choice was made to disobey God and thus sin or really selfishness separates us from God. But there is Jesus (who most people don't like to hear about) and He died so that his sacrifice could bring us back to relationship with God. He took our sin, conquered death (i.e. came back to life) and now, if we recieve him, when we die we can go to heaven. And you might think this is a load of balony, and I don't blame you. But if you would ask God to reveal Himself to you, (if you truly want to know if He is there) then He will. And it's not just a religion, because my life has been changed by God. And I've prayed for people who had a physical problem, like an injury or sickness and they have been healed. There are many people who have encountered that. People have been healed of cancer, AIDS, broken bones, sore backs, osteoperosis. You name it. Anyway, the truth is there, if you want to find it, ask God to help you, He will. I hope this helps

What does the Bible teach about the soul?
It teaches us that we do not have souls, we are souls. The Bible is very clear about this. At Genesis 2:7 it says: "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." (So Adam became a soul or a person.)
Leviticus 5:4: "Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these." (A soul can swear)
Leviticus 7:27: "Whatsoever soul it be that eateth any manner of blood, even that soul shall be cut off from his people." (A soul can eat)
Leviticus 22:11: "But if the priest buy any soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat." (Animals are souls too.)
Leviticus 23:30: "And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people." (Souls can work and be destroyed)
Ezekiel 18:4: "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." Also Ezekiel 18:20: " The soul that sinneth, it shall die: the son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son; the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him." Also Revelation 16:3: " And the second poured out his bowl into the sea; and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living soul died, even the things that were in the sea." (A soul is not immortal--it dies)

God's Word tells us what happens when we die. Psalms 146:4: "His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; In that very day his thoughts perish."
Ecclesiastes 9:10: "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol (grave), whither thou goest."
So the dead cannot talk, feel, or hear anything.
Those who are sleeping in death will remain in a deep sleep until Jesus who has been given the authority, resurrects them back to life.

Your soul is your breath life. God breathed into Adams nostrils and he became a living soul. When a person dies his body which was formed from the dust of the earth goes back to dust. The breath life goes back into the air. The spirit which is of God,and all who believe is endowed with holy spirit, returns back to God. When Christ returns, the dead in
Christ will rise first and then those who remain will be caught up and meet them in the air and so shall be with the Lord. 1Thessalonians 4:16. Its all in the Bible, the Word of God.

Your soul is energy that moves on to a new plane of existence after the physical body dies. Everyone has a soul.

yes, you have an immortal soul. When God made Adam from the dust of the ground he made us different then everything else that he simply spoke into existence. He formed us by His own Hand and breathed the breath of life into Adams body. I believe that is our spiritual energy force that lives on when this dust returns to the ground. when you die your spirit will go into the sleep of death (an unconsious state) to await the second coming of Christ. At that time you will be judged to spend eternity in heaven or eternity in hell depending on whether or not you accepted the gift God gave you in the form of His Son. Anybody who believes we are nothing more than random bits of molecules is a fool because they are denying their Creator the glory due to Him. Their choice. You have been warned.

Sigh another repeat question.
The Souls of ALL that was and Will be. were created by the CREATOR OF ALL THINGS from its own body . before the creation of the Physical Universe.
It is a facet of the CREATOR.and yes everything in this physical Universe has one.

OK--we have a soul, but it's just in our body, which, when we die, goes underground.

It's our SPIRIT that goes to Heaven to be with the Lord.

You need to have asked Jesus into your heart to go to Heaven when you die.

You need to tell God that you believe His son , Jesus, died on the cross to save you from your sins and arose the third day. You NEED to ask Him to come into your heart, and save you, because you know you are a sinner. That easy.

Then, say,"In Jesus' name,AMEN.

And MEAN it , don't just say the words............

Yes.

And where your soul aka:spirit goes when you die, depends on the life that you live here.

Know Jesus, know peace...No Jesus, no peace.
