I toured for the USO during Desert Storm and never asked what it stood for.

United Service Organization.

I was in Viet Nam, not Desert Storm but I still want to thank you for your service. You don't have to wear a uniform to earn my respect. But you will never earn it by running to Canada or England like some did. Your counterparts in Nam were exposed to the same danger we were. I assume the same was true in Desert Storm.

The USO is cool... they gave me free food and drink, and a place to sleep in the San Francisco airport at 2 in the morning! =)
