If a perfume smells better on your skin than it does right out of the bottle, does that mean it's a really good choice for you, or is that what generally happens? It's not that it smells bad out of the bottle, I just like the way it smells on my skin better.

Is it a bad idea to mix perfumes?

What's generally a good smell for a teenage girl? I have one called Crystal Aura from Avon. It says, "crystallized fruity floral shimmers with star fruit, amethyst rose and a radiant blend of musk and woods." What do you think?

Where do you put perfume so it smells the best the longest?

What kind of scent drives guys crazy?

What is it that guys wear that makes me crazy?

If it smells good on you, you picked right. Have the lady at the counter spray it on your arm, wear it awhile, for a few hours, and see if you really like it, then go back to the store and buy it. Some scents change with certain body chemistrys, I have one that does that.
Not a bad idea to mix, just be a little careful, and try small amounts of the mix on you, first. Most perfumes sold are a mix of scents.
The kind you are describing with the musk and the woods might be a little strong for a teenager, I'm not sure the parents would like it. Try something light and airy.
Put a drop on your pulse points, wrist, behind the ear, the crook of your arm, the back of your knees. The blood vessels, and the heat from them, disperse the scent through the air. If you want the scent to last, do not put it on the pulse points.
Guys say they like musky perfumes, and will choose them for a gift because they think they are sexy. But they are just like us, they like what they like.
I love "Old Spice!" I do not care if it isn't stylish to wear it.{ I also like Cool Water}, or anything that reminds me of Old Spice. I also love menthol shave cream, it is so guy!
And a warning, what smells good on you in the winter may make you smell, well, loud in the summer. Sweat and the heat of your body in summer can really make a heavier scent stinky. Try lighter stuff in the summer.
Happy shopping!

Perfume smells different on everybody because of our individual body chemistry. What you should wear is what you think smells good on you. the smell of perfume will usually change after it is on your body.

Not a great idea to mix perfumes. Usually perfumes are blended to work best with our body's pheromones. Mixing doesn't usually put off a better essence. You don't want to overpower anyone with your perfume.

Perfume will put off a stronger smell when applied to pulse points like your wrist and the area behind your ear. the quality of the perfume will be the test to it's longevity on your body.

What scents drive people crazy? It is a combination of personal taste and pheromones. In other words, different scents for different people. As you get older, you'll know what turn you on.

I really believe that young girls should smell clean. My husband, a much older guy, likes a "clean" smell. But, this is our opinion.

Hello! Your questions are excellent ones. There are SO many out there that it is confusing. Okay...
1. If the perfume smells lovely on you and better than it does in the bottle, that's a good thing and a good choice for you;

2. I have heard that it isn't a great idea to mix perfumes;

3. I like the description of "Crystal Aura". I like some of the Estee Lauder perfumes too. "Pleasures" is a pretty one that isn't too heavy;

3. I like putting perfume between my breasts and sometimes behind my knees... Sometimes too I mist a little bit over my hair;

4. My other half likes Estee Lauder's "Beautiful" on me;

5. I LOVE it when he wears Dunhill's clearish coloured cologne (not sure of the name). I think it's just "Dunhill". Drives me NUTS!

All the best and keep having fun with yours scents!

Your body chemical makes the difference in the smell of perfumes. You should put it on your wrist and behind you ears. No don't mix perfumes. I think the musk smells are too strong. my daughter and friends wore it and it gagged my husband. Most of the Avon perfumes are fine for young girls. I can't answer about the guys. they are all different. A lot of them that I knew when I was younger liked the Coty Emerald. It smells more like a powder that a perfume. Soft and sweet!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a bad a idea to mix perfumes. Aperfume should smell good on your skin. Put perfume on neck and behind knee for longest smell time. Crystal Aura sounds nice. My teenage daughter likes Sunflower.

I like Cool by Ralph Lauren.
As far as mixing perfumes...it depends on what you mix. Sometimes it smells good, sometimes not so much. You just have to experiment to decide what you like. And to make you perfume last longer, spray it on your neck or wrists.
