"Stand up, your father's passing" the black clergyman says to Scout.

"He's all bluff," Atticus says to his children about the vicious threats from the father of the girl who claimed to be a rape victim.

"He would still be there when Jim waked up in the morning" is the last line of the movie version, narrated by an adult Scout.

Its been a while since I read the book but, "stand up your father's passing" is a memorable one.
