i am trying to burn movies to disk and in the avi format they are too big using nero and my dvd burner so i either need to convert them to bin and cue files or manually adjust the encoding quality or something like that to make the file fit on dvd disks, or just any way to successfully burn .avi movies to disks that will play in a dvd player is there a program for such a thing?

bin and cue are image formats for CD. I would suggest changing avi to wrm (windows real media) format which are a lot more compact/compressed without too much loss to video quality, especially for video hosting.

If the original .bin or .cue is an image of a bootable cd then converting to .iso ensures it will never boot again. If the .bin or .cue is an image of a game cd that also contains audio tracks then converting to .iso ensures that the audio tracks are lost for all time.

Use the software originally designed to burn .bin/.cue - i.e. CDRwin (free download - see below).

A program called Alcohol 120% can do that.
