When you say you are trying to "dispute items that aren't mine..." What do you mean? Are these your debts and you are just trying to get them removed? If that's the case then there isn't much you can do....as long as you have followed the procedures from the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

If these are truely not your debts, and they have not proven it, then you are still doing something wrong. You are NOT following the procedures. If you did, then these debts would either be gone, or you would have a very nice lawsuit against the creditors who is posting them to your reports.

Read the links I've supplied below. If you are still confused contact me with some of the specifics and I can help you.

I promise you, if these are NOT your debts they can be deleted. You just need to know the correct way to go about it.

I am not a lawyer or credit counsoler. Just someone who has been down this route before, and help others do it.

Lost,

What have you done to dispute the items?

First, always send a certified letter when contacting the credit agencies and creditors.

Second, contact the creditors! They have 30 days to respond.

Do like I did. File bankruptcy. Move out of town. Cut both my legs off. And live of the state for the rest of my life. Is life great or what?
