Oddly enough if I am reading this question correct, it would be when I find myself straying too far from him. I used to live in a haunted home. I was fine for years, after then I went thru post traumatic stress syn. ( severe nightmares) to this day when I have strayed too far or not prayed for weeks, I find myself having these horrible nightmares that last all night and I am just a human fighting all of these demons in my home chanting " get behind me Satan, Lord take over" by the time I wake up , I am so mentally exhausted from the dream , I get back on track---this is no lie. So it is torturous for me, but he allows this in my subconscious mind to help me get back on track. No....I am not crazy, I have analyzed this for years
