The most ridiculous people are hippocrites, ones that go to church and pray to an idol of Jesus and his mother Mary. When in fact Idol worshipping is damned in the 10 commandments. Jesus was a Jew and he was an ordained Rabbi teaching a form of reformed Judaism for the multitudes clearly stated and written. The Irony of someone making a Jewish mother into a religion she never even participated in is blasphemy. However once the Christians realize that the Jews and Christians are one we will defeat all the other opposing beliefs to the point of keeping our freedom of choice of faith. Dont you think we have fought long enough after all we based our country on Jesus lets all agree that America is predominately Christian and we need to uphold that freedom of choice?

Christians and Jews are all family members. Only irrational people (on either side) would make a blanket statement of hatred about the other group. When I encounter people with such feelings I can only assume that they have no true knowledge of their religion or their history.

The Jewish people do not accept Jesus as the Messiah who was to come. The Christians do not accept the fact that the Jews do not not accept Jesus as the Messiah. True, Jesus was a Jewish theologian...a rabbi well educated in both the written & the oral Torah from which he taught. People who followed his teachings became known as Christians...followers of Christ who was said to be God in human form filled with the Holy Spirit. Thus we have the Jews rejecting the notion that Jesus is God & the Messiah...On the other hand Christians accept Jesus as both God & Messiah. Therein lies the conflict.

Neither Jesus nor Mary is an idol. Jesus was a person born of the Virgin Mary. History. Mary is not worshiped but revered as the mother of Jesus because she was blessed by God to be the mother of Jesus...God in human form. Mary is an intercessor, praying on our behalf...She is not an idol. Jesus is not an idol either, as he does in reality live today in spiritual form as many including myself can testify.

Yes, Jesus was/is a Jewish Rabbi, but we just can't seem to agree on just who this Jewish Rabbi is or is not. More is the pity.

Yes, Jesus was a rabbi. Yes, ultimately, anti-Semetism is inconsistent with Christianity.

Your second point, however, is false. "We based our country on Jesus" just isn't true. The Founding Fathers created an anti-utopia based on NOT repeating the mistakes of the Greek city states and Roman Empire. The country was not designed by people trying to create a Christian paradise, they wanted a workable limited government that would last and could not be manipulated into a device for anyone's utopia.

America is nominally mostly non-church-going Christians, which is not the same thing as your statement that "America is predominately Christian..."

We need to uphold religious freedom and separation of church and state, if that's what you mean about the "need to uphold that freedom of choice," but I'm not certain what you're talking about at the end of your post when you write that.

Jesus was once a Jew. True Christians dont hate Jews. You have dangerous understanding. Jesus taught love for every person even your enemies. So I suppose you're attacking each Jew and Christian and your underlying reason is to begin some thing that doesnt exist. Jesus got here to avoid wasting the Jews and improved his Salvation to the Gentiles all of Gods youngsters. The Bible teaches Salvation is of the Jews and via Jesus all of us are stored if we best ask. I am Christian and was once married to a Jewish man or woman. Also how can I hate any one thats an essential side of the Bible and Gods Word. That could be like slicing off my arm and claiming I nonetheless have hands to make use of. I learn and be trained from the Old testomony and the New Testament. I recomend you do the equal.

You ask about how Mary came about as ''holy''.

The church of Ephesus (Turkey) was trying to get the people to convert, and they would not leave their Goddess, Diana. Tho Mary had hardly been mentioned in the Bible, they decided to give her a goddess like existence so they could move her in and Diana out. With time, it worked, and Mary was well established into the church doctrine.

Added note: This is the area Paul did alot of his preaching....Ephesus.

Most of the American founders were Deists-not Christian. Two of these were Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin. Need I name more? They based this country on religious freedom, not Chrisitanity.

I share the same views, I did not really get the ending to your question, but the rest was great. I thinks it soooo stupid/ignorant when people clain to be christian and hate the jews, its like how dumb, Jesus the Christ was jewish. And not just that but whats the deal with people hating the jews. What did they do that was so bad. My opinion why people hate jews is because the devil hates the jews and thats apart of what he wants, people to hate the jews..

Well if one is truly falling Jesus, then he can't hate the Jews. Not because Jesus was a Jew, but because hatred of any group is not consistant with our love of God.

However, I would question why you would name Jesus and "ordained Rabbi". You might want to check your historical context, as well as your understanding of Roman Catholic theology.
