Bhutan! The temples were beautiful, air was clean and people were friendly. You can just drop by someone's home and they will let you in and give you tea.

I have been to Italy twice and can't wait to return. There are wonderful art work in cities and towns, the countryside is gorgeous, the food and wine are fabulous and the people, for the most part are warm, friendly and helpful- even if you can't speak a word of Italian beyond ciao!

Thailand. People I've met in Bangkok, Thailand are so friendly, courteous and nice. They also give good discounts (haggling is an art there) and they don't rip off or take advantage of foreigners. To top it all, they cook and serve the best tasting food in the world (regardless if you buy it from the street/restaurant)!!!:)

I've been to a few countries in Europe, but I'd have to say France (namely Paris) was wonderful! There's so much history and culture and then there's always "ces beaux hommes français" who tell you that they love you in French! Who wouldn't love that??
