What is your age/weight/height? Why do you think you need to gain weight? Most vegetarians/vegans are thinner than the rest of the population because we take in less FATS than what are found in Meats and Dairy products. You might want to consider taking a protein supplement. Just remember, it is a lot healthier to be on the thin side than to have a weight problem.

Eating: The first important point to increase your weight is to eat well. Eat more than you burn calories. Eating food, which contains more fat is good for people who are thin. Drinking milk, cheese, chicken meat etc are some foods, which contain more fat.

Exercise: Most people think that thin people should not exercise, as they could get even thinner. But it is recommended that they exercise so that they feel hungrier and eat more. Taking nutritious

food would help the body gain weight. Do not lift heavy weight dumbbells in a gym; instead opt for low weight and do more repetitions.

Simple, know that humans are not herbivores, but rather omnivores. Add some meat, particularly fish into your diet. But be sure you have the enzymes to digest the meat. Either from fresh picked veggies or sprouts (sprouts are best), or a reliable supplement form, either vegetable or whole grain sprouts. You might want to add bio-available whey protein too.

My cousin went through the same situation and the doctor told her to more beans because they replace the protein that you should be getting by eating meat I hope It works for you too. Good Luck!

Milk. Add milk to your diet, preferrably late at night if youre trying to gain weight. Add chocolate syrup and ice cream....yummy fattening! :)

I don't know why you want to gain wait, but, if you must, eat candy and sugar and try not to exercise that much. Also, eat popcorn, it is junk and it is corn! Drink sodas too. Since you are a vegitarian, it might be a little tough for you to gain wait.
