If this is your second or more child you will start to show sooner. For me i was showing with my first at about 10 weeks. Every pregnancy is different. This one you are simply carring way out front. Last time I was in maternity and nothing else by about 16 weeks this time it wasnt until 18 because I didnt get the pants, but I needed them around 14 weeks or so. I noticed maternity was more comfortable around 8-9 weeks with this baby. Dont worry once the baby is here you can work all the excess weight off. Also just because your showing dosent mean you are gaining, I lost 10lbs my first trimester and was huge with my son and this time I've gone down 15 and am just starting to gain now, I think I'm at 2 lbs above pre pregancy weight and I'm pretty big.. Some of us just show early and alot. I got asked if it was twins alot last time.

I started showing at 3 weeks. I got really huge. I couldn't even put my arms around my own stomache by the time I had him. He was only 6lbs. 3 oz. Some people just gain a lot being pregnant. I lost it all (or most lol) just to give you a little encouragement. One other thought. You sure it's not twins? or more?

my 3 pregnancies were all different. The first one, i gained 20 lbs before knowing i was prego and everyone said the same thing. The second one, i gained lots at the end, but he was a big boy.

The third one, i showed sooner but didn't get as big as the first two.

If you're thin, you'll probably show sooner. I gained up to a normal weight with my first and then put on baby weight.

Every person is different. You may gain all your weight at the begining and none at the end. When I first got pregnant I went down to a size five but my best friend has already gained 20 lbs

Some women show earlier if it's not their first pregnancy.

POssibly beggining of gestational diabetes.

Maybe there are multiples. If you had an early ultrasound (which most women don't) It's very possible that they did not see the second or third sack.

Or you may jst be one of those women that get really big during pregnancy.

Good Luck!

it all depends on the person and the pregnacy. they all very I didnt begin to show until i was 6 months, but my mother mother began to show alot when she was 3 months. You can never realy say why differnt people and differnt pregnancys show differntly and at differnt times.

It could be possible that u are carrying twins. Have you gained a lot of weight or is your stomach just stretched a lot?

Did you have an ultasound to determine baby's age? Save that ultrasound cause' the kid will enjoy it. Maybe water retention, cut low on salt.
