I've checked any other possible symptoms (bad breath, fever, lack of appetite, pain) and none of them is noticeable. My veterinarian is not available. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!!

WAIT. The same thing happened to my dog a couple of years back. Our dog was shaking like a leaf like she was super cold and trembling. We put her in the backyard to go to the bathroom and she kept going around peeing like 10 times. Does your dog do this? We found out she had kidney stones. She is a small dog (a bichon frise).

The shaking could be due to pain. She looked miserable. Your dog could have a kidney stone and need a simple surgery to remove it.

Better to be safe than sorry ---call an animal hospital ASAP...a dog can take a lot without letting you know whats wrong. At this point, he is telling you something is not right.

Call the vet and see if there is an emergency number to call. There should be an emerg. clinic in the area. Take him at once.

Your dog can be having some disease if it is not neutered/spayed. if the vet is not available, i suggest another vet or check your dog out At the humane society.

If you have a female dog, she might be having false labor. Many dogs act and feel like they are pregenant. Just take it to the vet to make sure your dog is ok.

If she looks in pain, I would look for another vet. Maybe an emergency number that your vet left for someone else?

Look up an emergency vet (open 24 hours usually). CALL THEM! Who knows what the problem is.

those are signs of pain and or fear... how old is your dog? could be old age brain trouble? or could still be illness without fever... cancer does not come with fever... or if it goes away in a day could just be something spooked it?
