yes, anything loud is no good for the ears. We have millions of tiny little nerve endings right near the ear drum, they vibrate everyime they detect sound. Over time the nerve endings start ti shrink and die, the more that do this the less you start to hear. They do this naturally cause of sound but the louder the sounds the more corrupt they get

I can tell you that i worked in bars for many years, loud music was the thing. As of now i hate anything loud and i want quiet. I dont think my hearing was compromised. If it was blasting in my ears 24/7 that might be different. Headphones werent popular back then. I did my 8 hour bar stint and i was done. Call a doc and see what they say.

Like where are your parents ... YOU have never heard this ,,, Alice Cooper.. ( a great showman rock artist from the ages.. now great golfer.... did some sorta show talking about the huge hearing loss he suffered during his youth in the 70's while doing his concerts . LIKE DUH ... Go to a concert .. better yet the next club you go to .. when you go home and try to sleep .. do you hear a ringing? that is damage. any loud music is bad over time. Been to a hundred concerts and clubs .. and have hearing loss .. plus all the headphone damage from my teendays listening to some loud black sabbath. ... turn down the head phones ... you may want to hear your children some day tell you they love you.

Loud music, especially with headphones, ear buds, iPods, etc, are damaging to your inner ears. You will regret it later if you keep blasting the music inside your ears. Put the sound level at a safe volume, where you can still hear it, but no one outside can hear your music playing. Any ear doctor, or audiologist will tell you loud music is bad for anyone.

Over a period of time loud music will damage your hearing. Ask any doctor
or hearing specialist !! You will lose the ability to hear the higher notes, with
later loss of normal volume. You probably won't go totally deaf unless you
continually have the music ( or any other noise) really loud.
DON'T LISTEN TO ANY FOOL THAT TELLS YOU LOUD MUSIC WILL NOT
DAMAGE YOUR HEARING, THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING
ABOUT....

Yes, it can damage hearing. If you play it in full volume and listen for 5 minutes, it can cause hearing damage. To avoid this, listen to music 90 minutes a day if you are listening at 70% of volume. If you listen around 50%, it shouldn't really affect you at all.

Do yourself a favor. Turn off all sound and sit quietly in a room. Now listen and see what you hear. If you hear a hissing sound, and you do not stop playing that loud music, you will lose what hearing you have left. I have the same problem from listening to my model airplane engines without ear protection.

Yes, you will eventually experience some hearing loss. Your ears were not designed to listen to music loud.
Just remember that when some idiot with his car full of speakers drives past you, he will be deaf in a few years.
