Lately I have been having some breakouts on my chin and doctors and aethesticians have been telling me that it is most likely due to a hormonal imbalance but they don't say what I can do to treat it? What do you think it means? If it has something to do with hormones, how can I make my skin to stop breaking out? ( otherwise I feel fine) No products really help me...Help :) Thanks!

Not sure of your money situation but a good aesthetician who does facials with extractions on a regular basis like at least once a month, will definitely help. After a year of that your skin will work itself out and be clear. However, sounds like you could use some internal remedies such as drinking Aloe Vera Juice. It is a natural detoxing of internal body including skin. Hormonal imbalance should have been taken care of my dr. with a prescription. However, these days drs. just don't want to deal with alot of things that are really important to us. Therefore, we must look, do research on our own for our own needs.

If you are a teenager at all it's probably hormones - but it is normal for you to have an imbalance because your hormones are figuring themselves out. Has the doctor done bloodwork to test your hormones? If he hasn't and is diagnosing you you should get a different doctor. Any doctor who tells you something like that without investigating, teaching you more about your condition or following up should not be visited again. If you think it might be a serious hormone imbalance google PCOS polycystic ovarian syndrom it is common in women with acne. Good luck-oh ya and proactive always worked for me.
