Hiya,

It's " (les/des) buts". Pronounced [by(t)]

Goals= buts
Objectif= objective

In French, "but" is also used in football,hockey and handball.

My favorite types of goals are the free kicks. Specially the one Roberto Carlos kicked. It's on youtube and it was one of the best goals ever. Besides it is awesome how much the players can curve the ball alon with alot of power.

the goals: les buts ou les objectifs

be careful if u wanna say "les buts" it's not pronouced like buts in English you don't say the s at the end and it's pronounced [by(t)] (from the International phonetic alphabet)

Soccer or not, the basic term is still "but". You can also use "objectif".
