99% of all male masturbate at some point in their lives, usually regularly (but there are a few exceptions). The other 1% lie about it.
They lie about it because they are ashamed to admit to this very personal private pleasure, and it is a matter of pride: why can they not make enough "conquests" to keep their libido in check, and have to keep returning to the "self-service pump"? They must not have it like that.

I don't think it's easy for guys to answer you, "Yeah, I jack off three times a day while watching porn with my dog."
It doesn't sound right, does it? It's not being a hypocrite. It's just too embarassing to talk about, even if sex is being talked about all the time. It is, indeed, personal.
And I think, that most guys do jack off. There are some "obvious" things that no longer need to be asked.

i'm not really sure why us guys lie. some won't lie but most will. i guess its just weird or embarrassing so why tell others. its like if we have to jack off it means we can't get any. hell i'm engaged and i do somtimes. hardly any but i do sometimes. half the time when guys ask women they lie about it so why can't we.

Some women I have known use the question for their own personal game. They want to do all they can with the question to prove their point or disgrace you. As well as it being of a personal nature. Then some women dislike the point of when a guy says yes. Women can be quite confusing at times as can us males.
