I am looking to go to school to pursue my Ph.D. in eduation and am looking to fund it without loans.

it's hard to find money for graudate level study and above. i would try to work for the school you intend on going to. either through an assistanship like teaching, or as a staff member/employee. in those situations tuition is free. if you are currently in grad school right now, talk with your professors and see if they have any connections that might work for you.

No seriously.. theres no such thing as free money. Get a loan like everyone else.

As FREE lunches are rare, & most listed as free have very sticky strings attached . . . I would recommend approaching whomever this PhD will benefit (you didn't give us a clue) but whomever it will and see if they believe in you enough to give you a scholarship.

Military, or hospital etc that will pay your college if you work there. . Try Easter Seals, Cancer association. Maybe they would know where you should go. .

good luck. I had to work and pay a loan in order to go to school. no freebies.

Get outside job in your feild. they will pay for your Ph.D
