it depends of his personality,and yours i use to fill a questionaire with information(private) between my wife and me about everything she loves and everthing i love,like:food,colors,clothes,sport,music,places to visit or dream to know,hobbies to learn or love to practice etc..,we are changing accord the years ,so update the information.plus do crazy things that your mate does not expect!(in a good way)

That I like to do? Go to the cinema, picnics, potlucks, Christmas plays, bake, cook, family gatherings.
What do I find romantic? Kissing with out hesitation, especially in public, the love for cats and small dogs, some of the things that a lady's family might disagree with- with in reason, of course.

As men get older, they often feel like they need to be more active to stay in shape and regain their youth. Do something active. Go hiking or biking, or for a walk. Take a yoga class together. Go to the beach. If you've got a couch potato, all the more reason to get out there! Good luck.

Whatever you do, don't give too much too soon. It is a known fact that if you cater too much it doesn't allow him to pursue you. Take it slow, don't play games but present a challenge for him. Men will never tell you that...

Have a real comfy bedroom, watch stuff at home, make dinner with stuff that is just a little bit better than everyday (like food and wine), low lights, just share stuff. It's also nice if the girl shows an interest in you.

53 and the list is endless --- a day on the harbour ---- taking the ferry across and back ---- fish and chips and wine on the beach
coffee on the harbour
walk on the beach
check out the rainforest
climb the harbour bridge at twilight etc etc etc
you are only limited by your imagination
