It's not the Christians you have to worry about, they are in the same boat you are. They aren't your ultimate judge, it's between you and God and no one else.
And as far as trust you don't have to care what anyone else thinks or ever trust anyone else, you only have to trust yourself. Do you?

You're correct, basically. Doubt can be good. The Bible warns against following false prophets and some or all of the "christians" that bother you could be those!
The idea is to live a good life and be the best person you can be.
Since you are a non-believer than it shouldn't bother you at all if your name is not in the book of life and if an end of times comes and there is a gather of all souls, you should not be disapointed, correct. For you do not subscribe and do not believe. Hence if your soul is called forth and you are told you are not in the book, it will not bother you much since you were not a believer and don't subscribe to this "fate" stuff.
The big thing is how surprised would you (and others) be if your name was in the book.
Life a good life. Be the best person you can be.

There is a problem with your logic however. You are assuming that Christians don't have doubt. Every Christian does. The twelve apostles who actually held Jesus' company doubted multiple times that he was The Christ. No you don't burn in hell because you don't trust Christians in the Bible. You burn in hell (given you believe in it) if you deny the fact that God exists and Jesus sacrificed himself to cover our sins. Therefore I believe it is circular reasoning. If you don't believe God exists and all of the theology behind you won't burn in hell because nothing happens after death. If you do believe in Heaven and hell and not accept the afformentioned statements the belief is that you will be punished. I think the thing that many fail to see is how terrible of a thing it is to not believe in God in God's eyes though. By not even acknowledging him you place everything he has done to be null and void. I pray that you would "trust" more of the words spoken to you by honest Christians.

Yes and I trust the Lord implicitly. I trust His word. Yes I am a Christian. I live without doubt. Non- believers will always exist. It says in my Bible if you go to them one time and they do not accept shake the dust of your shoes off as a witness against them. You believe as you will and so will I. Apparently you have heard the Gospel in some form or another. If you would be further interested you would pick up the Bible and read. They are everywhere.

I've said the same thing for years. How can you really blame someone for not believing someone else even though they may be right? How can the person being preached to know that? They use all their own personal experiences to base their decision on and I don't think it's fair to say that God doesn't understand that. Actually I think that's pretty insulting to God.
I believe hell is only reserved for really evil people. I don't think God would just send everybody who doesn't believe in Christianity to hell since there are so many ways for people to fall between the cracks. We all believe the punishment should fit the crime, so why don't we give God the same credit?

It really makes me sad to see all of the hate that is posted on this site towards Christians. I know - some of them put their foot in their mouth and do not act like what you would think that a Christian "should" act like. But - Christians are human. We are not perfect in ANY way!!!
As far as Christians forcing religion on people... that seems to be what I hear or read the most. Well, first of all - most born again Christians do not believe in religion. What we do believe in is a relationship.... having a relationship with our Creator and His parts.
2nd - if you saw someone about to be hit by a car, or a heavy object fall on someone or someone about to be burned by fire - wouldn't you do whatever took to warn them? What if the person that you were trying to save never saw the car, the heavy object or the fire.... should they still believe you? What if they thought you were crazy? Would you care? Would it stop you from trying to save them??? Again - not any one of us is perfect - so maybe many Christians don't say it in the right way ....
But if they truely are followers of Christ, then the sentiment is the same. I think it was said best by the Beatles - All you need is love...

I don't know the religious answer, but to lose faith is a tragedy. Yes, people lie, yes some priests are pedophiles, yes, our government decieves. The true test of faith in humanity, at least, is to know that, and still go on having faith that people will do the right thing by you most of the time. To my way of reading your question, you are focused too much on the negative, while those who have faith (real faith) focus on the positive. I believe in people, but that doesn't mean I act stupidly, either. I am not naive-I know you cannot flaunt your trust by walking down the street by yourself at midnight in a provocative outfit and expect nobody to harrass you (at least), I usually lock my doors, but I will not allow a few bad people to ruin my faith in everyone else.
Again, I don't know whether this answers your question at all, but if you are a non-believer, you don't acknowledge hell anyway, so you have nothing to worry about that way.

Sweetheart you coming to the conclusion that is a "trust" issue is your interpretation and you are entitled to it. Yes the word is full of lies but God isn't. We as Christians walk in faith not by sight. We believe in God and we trust him.
Let's try it this way.... Can you or anybody make a tree? Design so many species that all of them haven't been found yet? Can anybody you know make a planet that serves as heat or regulate darkness? Instill knowledge in mankind to a degree that is still little or nothing to God? Go look outside at nature and ask yourself who did all of this and tell me what you come up with. God Bless You and may God reveal himself to you.

You don't have to trust the Christians. You only have to trust Jesus Christ. As far as the Bible goes, there are 8000 verses of prophecy in the Bible, 90% of those prophecies have been fulfilled, there is still time left and 10% are yet to be fulfilled and will be fulfilled. Scholars have listed over 100 prophecies in the Old Testament relating to the birth, earthly mission, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Everyone of them fulfilled. The odds of one man fulfilling only 48 of those prophecies is 1 to 10 with 157 zeros following it. There is historical proof that Jesus lived from the writings of Josephus, Tacitus, Pliny the Younger, Lucian and the Babylonian Talmud.

Don't fear hell. Don't listen to people who talk about hell.
Seek for yourself a way to true life. And for this you may have to seek first for a trustful teacher who is pure, kindly and wise enough to tell you the standards and the right concept of life. Doubt is good; but blind faith and blind solution for doubtful problems are both harmful. Wish you are happier than people who believe.

.I'm sorry we have to live in a society where fear and not being able to trust our neighbors is a factor but that's reality. I would hope I could possibly make some of you to be able to trust us. I'm a Christian and it breaks my heart to see people feel they are being bullied into something. Sometimes we christains forget we were once where you are now. We were looking for something and being very defensive, at least I know I was. Thank God for a very persistent old aunt. She never gave up on me.
