if you were supposed to see your Creator than you would be in Paradise and not on Earth . Think, we belive mostly by seeing, so isnt obvious that test would be based on not being able to see?

...And that is evidence instead of a baseless assertion how?

You ask why we always claim that there is no PROOF of the existence of God and then you argue against actually SEEING this "God"? Who's claiming that God doesn't exist because we can't "see" this God? I'm not. I don't think ANY atheist claims "since I cannot see God, I do not believe". It doesn't work that way and PLEASE stop trying to knock down strawmen.

For the rest of the question... honestly it was too garbled to understand.

Look...

Providing proof is the job of the believer, not the job of the nonbeliever. If one presents a positive belief (i.e., an assertion which one claims to be true), one has the obligation to present evidence in its favor. The burden of proof lies with the person who asserts the truth of a proposition. If the evidence is not forthcoming, if there are not sufficent grounds for accepting the proposition, it should NOT be believed. The theist who asserts the existence of a god assumes the responsibility of demonstrating the truth of this assertion; if he fails in this task, theism should not be accepted as true.

Some believers attempt to escape the responsbility of providing evidence by shifting this responsibility onto the atheist. Atheism, which is represented as a rival belief to theism, allegedly cannot demonstrate the nonexistence of a god, so it is claimed that the atheist is no better off than the theist. This is also the favorite argument of the agnostic, who claims to reject theism and atheism on the basis that neither position can provide demonstration.

When atheism is rightly recognized as the absence of theism, the preceding maneuver falls to the ground. Proof is applicable only in the case of a positive belief. To demand proof of the atheist, the religionist must represent atheism as a positive belief requiring substantiation. When the atheist is seen as a person who LACKS belief in a god, it becomes clear that he is not obligated to "prove" anything. The designation of "atheist" tells us, not what he believes to be true, but what he does NOT believe to be true. If others wish for him to accept the existence of a god, it is THEIR responsibility to argue for the truth of theism - but the atheist is not similarly required to argue for the truth of atheism.

Why the test. Stupidity. No test, just go with the flow. Follow your own ideas & what you belive to be real. With so many galaxies in the univers, do you think that the creator is going to put out one stupid test! We are all the creators. Thoughts have power. Use those thoughts wisely. I am a Baptist's missionary sister, and they couldn't shove that one-god krap down my throat. We all unite as a whole - animals, bugs, aliens from outter space, etc.!

Many people feel comfort with pure fact, and science is closer to fact than religion. Atheists are more likely to believe things such as Darwin's theory of Evolution, which is supported by plenty of data and research. To them, the test is more likely to be about survival than about faith.

I myself am not sure what I believe.I think religion may have been created from a human need of security and purpose, and has in time been twisted to create order and government. However, it is nice to believe there is indeed an ultimate creator, and perhaps that they are watching over us.

Do I understand you correctly? Are you trying to say that the reason that we cannot see God is because he is testing us. Then there must also be goblins and 500 foot tall purple trees who are testing us as well, since there is no proof of those either.

The reason that I don't believe in God is because I can see no logical reason for Him or Her to hide so well, instead of making it obvious that He or She is there. If God wanted us to believe, God would have made it LOGICAL for us to believe, not the opposite.

I am agree with you for some people...but it is a test...this a story was to me by mail.

A young man who went overseas to study for quite a long time.

When he returned, he asked his parents to find him a religious scholar
or any expert who could answer his Question.

Finally, his parents were able to find a scholar.
Young man: Who are you? Can you answer my questions?
Scholar: I am one of God willing, I will be able to answer your
question.

Young man: Are you sure? A lot of Professors and experts were not able
to answer my question.
Scholar: I will try my best, with the help of God .

Young Man: I have question:
1. Does God exist? If so, show me His shape.
Suddenly, the Scholar slapped the young man's face very hard. Young
Man(feeling pain): Why do you get angry at me?
Scholar: I am not angry. The slap is my answer to your question.
Young Man: I really don't understand.
Scholar: How do you feel after I slapped you?
Young Man: Of course, I felt the pain.
Scholar: So do you believe that pain exists?
Young Man: Yes.
Scholar: Show me the shape of the pain!
Young Man: I cannot.
Scholar: That is my first answer. All of us feel God's existence without being able to see His shape

if anyone didn't belive in his existence without seeing him that will be example...

why do Christians constantly try to push their beliefs on other, I believe it is a sign of insecurity, if you were truly confident in your religion then you would confide in the fact that you have all the answers and not worry about the opinions of others, but because you have such a prevalent fear of justifiable doubt you shun all objections to your (ignorant) doctrine because group mentality, well after you get raped by your priest and die a pointless unproductive life. take a look back and see what the cattle herding accomplished.

Eh? so a driving test should take place without a car? That seems obvious to me!

How do you know this is not a test for the Tooth Fairy? YOu can not see the tooth fairy, so the test is to believe without seeing her!

twaddle.

I do not believe their is valid proof of the existence of god but however I see my creator all the time, my mother and my father. They are the ones who worked very hard to make and to raise me, and gave me the ability to reason and judge my own decisions.

Prove this is a test. A rational mind needs proof, or at least evidence. I would not run in a forest with my eyes closed. I would need evidence that my steps would not hurt me.

So God is a cruel conniver who throws up playful games to see if people will disbelieve their senses. This kind of God, I can live without.
