Right I am no expert so don't expect miracles.
But here it goes....
Start a regular conversation with them. Maybe direct more of your questions to the girl that you like. Plus body language means a lot but don't stress over it or think about it too much. light touching on the arm or hand can show that you are interested (don't over do this as it might also freak her out) and try to keep eye contact (meaning don't keep looking at your hands or feet or whatnot)
It couldn't hurt to talk to her friend and check because then you would know if you actually have a chance. And you never know, her friend might be able to help you.

Just go up and ask her if you could talk to her a second alone and maybe ask if she'd mind going out with you sometime. Asking her girlfriend is probably not a good idea. I feel anyway.
I wouldn't enter her into it, who knows what she might say. And then maybe go right back and tell her what you asked. I'd be a man and handle it on your own. What's it going to hurt. All she can do is say, "no." And then you'd have your answer. But getting the other girl involved, I think is a bad idea. She might definitely say no then, just because you asked the other girl first for advice. I don't think I'd like it if someone went to my friend,. I'd think it was kinda childish. If he wants to know if I like him, just ask. We'd probably end up laughing about it and that would just cause worse hurt feelings.

Just be yourself around both of them. If you only like the one girl, ask her specifically to maybe do something social with you, like meet somewhere for a drink or to go to the library together, whatever you both enjoy doing. As far as asking the other girl about what she thinks, that's just the fastest way to get the two of them talking about you, and it may not necessarily be a good thing. Women usually like men who are up front, not playing games. Good luck!

And what makes you think this time will be any different than before?? Seriously....ask them if they have been to the movies. Or what are they planning to do for the holidays. Don't forget the eye contact with the one you are interested in. Show you are listening. She should get the hint.

Start a friendly, jovial conversation and then slip in the fact that her girlfriend,in your humble opinion,is a fat, unwashed tub of lard.

go up to her and say : I need to speak to you about something really important. then take her hand and lead her away from the group. if she goes with you then she likes you if not then tell her: ok and smile at her and walk away. don't get angry or show any kind of disappointment. just smile and walk away. she will in this case be after you.. good luck

do you have amyspace? does she? if so, ask her to be your friend and start chatting.
Where do you see her? It depends on where you see her to start talking to her.
And unless you want the girl to find out from her friend that you like her, i wouldnt ask her friend about it.
But you should just go for it, talk to her and see what happens, if its meant to be then itll all work out!
