I hope you are not trying to access other users' Document folders. You have not explained the scenario you are facing.
Is the system asking for password?
OR When you click on the My Documents icon, nothing happens (or your pc hangs)
OR when you click, it says the access is denied?
Try to enter Safe mode (press f8 once your computer starts..and choose Safe Mode from the list).
Then try to access your folder again. See if it works in safe mode first.

Sign on as Administrator, and you can make it available to any one who uses the computer.

Was it accidentally deleted? Check your Recycle Bin.
