I've tried to download antivirus software tonight--first Avast, and I stopped that one when it'd get to a certain point and just sit there, and the download wouldn't finish. Now I'm trying AVG/Antivir, and it'll get to 35% of the download being complete, but will just sit there, and not finish...why is this happening? I've checked for viruses recently and done several types of system maintenance, and there shouldn't be any problems with my pc that are causing this...

If your computer hangs or reboots while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software. This problem can be solved by uninstalling new softwares, updating device drivers and making minor configuration changes. Detailed instructions at http://tinyurl.com/yk5zpr
