Yes just go into aol and add all your information and then when they ask for the credit card cancel it then it should come up with an other option where you can add your phone number instead.
Another is too if and when you want to cancel well good luck cause they are hard to cancel a real pain the in butt =(

AOL is one company. If you want to use AOL you have to go through them.
It is true about AOL not "cancelling when customer asks for a cancellation." I've been fighting with them for months. I even gave them the name of their EMPLOYEE that took my cancellation request, yet they continue to call and harass me with threats of non-payment.

i would stay away from AOL for i have heard they dont let their customers go and when u cancel they affect ur credit. (get verizon DSL for like $15-$30 a month and thats DSL or Opitmimum online or something(

No ~ and if you give your credit card number you can count on them billing you for charges ~ often times even before the free service is complete. Also, then to cancel the service, it is VERY difficult.

all you need to do use the demos there free, when time is up remove it with ad/remove program and install another demo ,But you have to remove one to add a different new one,its free so there shouldn't be any hassels.
