Usually, LAX but if your ultimate destination is Palm Springs- you may want to take into account the travel costs to get from LAX to Palm Springs.

Alternatively- closer to Palm Springs- is Ontario Airport. Much more user friendly than LAX and it will put you about 90 minutes away from Palm Springs.

Listen to Easy A...he knows what he's talking about.

Smaller airports (like Palm Springs) cost more to fly in and out of, but the extra cost may be worth it since Palm Springs is almost a 2 hour drive from LAX.

Ontario would be the closest major airport to Palm Springs but a lot will depend on your carrier and point of departure.

Bunches of airports in Southern California. Look into specifics of where you want to go, prices, flight schedule etc.

LAX, John Wayne (Santa Ana), Palm Springs, Ontario, Burbank, and San Diego.

Have I forgotten one?
