I really like Dylan. I asked him out but he said that he didn't want to date me becasue he did not wat that to ruin our friendship if we were ever to decide that it wouldn't work. I told him that I am not that kind of person and that I am good friends with all of the others; and he said that he was not like that either. I really like him and I need some help on this because I need to figure out a way how I can let him know that it would not ruin anything and to just give me a chance but I am not sure how. Help.

I'm going to be real honest with you.. i think that you should just settle for the friendship for the time being because it's extremely hard for a person to remain friends after you crossed a romantic barrier if it's meant for you to be more than friends than it shall take place....

It sounds to me like he may not have the same feelings for you that you are feeling for him. Guys are usually not too worried about friendships if they are romantically interested in a girl. I recommend keeping him as a friend.

If he really wanted to be with you he wouldn't have said that he just wanted to remain friends. If your really into someone why the heck wouldn't you give it a try?

First of all, do you really know nothing will get ruined? Not trying to be a pessimist, but how does a person really know that?
