Where did you get the idea that Satan will punish sinners? God gives you the ability to choose between He and Satan. You either choose God's path and live forever or choose Satan and live in torment forever. You seen to have grasped the fact the Satan is bad. Look at it this way then...Good is God. It's up to you to figure out what path you want to take. Satan the Devil is already defeated, why would you folllow a loser? Think about it
God Bless You

Satan punish sinners???
That is God's power alone, specifically Jesus.

John 5
22Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.

Satan does want to see all men condemned by the Lord, because he is a murderer and wants only to see us suffer and be destroyed, he takes delight in the suffering of others.

2 Thessalonians 2
9The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, 10and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie 12and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

He is probably the worst friend a person could make. If you had a friend who was a bad influence and you always did what they said.. would they be worse if they rewarded your behavior, or if they just let you face the consequences and laughed at you? I think Satan would be the latter.

But really, I dont think he punishes you. I think he influences you and then you face the consequences of those actions regardless of him.
But thats just what I think...

Satan tries his hardest to get us away from God. He does this in many, many ways, but one of the fundamental ways to get people to believe that God punishes us for our sins. He also tries to get us to believe that God needs angels in heaven so he takes humans, thus in our grief we blame God for how we feel. If God is in need of anges why wouldn't he just create more? Why would he cause us the pain of loosing a loved one? The bible clearly states at Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 that the dead are consious of nothing, their hate, jealousy, etc. has perished with them. If the dead are angels then they would obviously be consious of something. Satan himeself is the ruler of this world (1 John 5:19) and the cause of all evil, and for now due to the issue of Universal Soverignty, God allows him to continue. If you look around though many people are rewarded for their badness, and their sins, with wealth, power and prestige.

Satan is the father of all lies. He hates us. He'll do anything he can to lure you into doing evil. There is no such things as rewards in hell only eternal punishment and torment.

Satan suffers more than anyone else in hell, God created and controls hell. I think of hell as a prison where God throws the sinners in death as we do in life. Satan is at the bottom of it suffering the most, he is powerless.

Sure thats what he wants you to think.
According to my knowledge:
Satan WANTS you to think that, he wants to lure you from God, just as he faded from God himself, but it is his job, given to him by God. Satan really is just an example of God trying your Faith, to see if you are really true to him, even though he already knows
