A sip or two is okay. Dont' over-do it. Absinth is a haluconagen, so be careful with it.

Weight is not a good determinant of alcohol tolerance. Some people are skinny and still have a higher tolerance to alcohol than others. Race is another determinant. Some races, in general, have higher alcohol tolerance than others.
Drinking or not is a personal decision and nobody should feel that they are forced to drink. If you decide to drink, make sure that you drink responsibly and that you have a ride to home.

Do not drink my friend, please take my advice, drinking is by itself a problem, if you can not avoid an invitation have a free alcohol beer (nobody will know the difference)
As for what they are planing to drink, i think it could be a lager, which is a kind of beer but it has alcohol. Drinking when you do not know your tolerance is might get you in troubles and at the end could also make you the party's fool
Good luck, remember that sometimes with such good friends you don't need enemies.

If you don't drink then don't have those drinks. Since you don't drink you don't have a tolerance to alcohol so it wont take much to get u wasted. And if the absinthe they have is the real thing I wouldn't even touch it cause that wil F*$K you up...good luck.

No more than one shot of absinthe and no more than 1 or 2 shots of Jagermeister. Over at least a two hour period. Any more than that and you will have problems.
And don't drive after drinking unless you like to go to jail..

Definitely NOT. Jager and absinthe are best avoided by any drinker, but especially by someone who has never had alcohol before. They're high-powered beverages not to be taken lightly.
Think of it in terms of handing a three year old the keys to a Lamborghini and expecting him to be able to drive it.

Jaggermeister is a VERY strong drink, and Absinthe can literally kill you. And yes, body weight is one factor that determines your tolerance to alcohol. Tolerance is also increased by an increase of frequency of consumption & amount of food in your digestive system

i wouldnt drink anything. i know that peer pressure plays a big part and all but if you have never had anythign to drink before, starting with something painfully strong is not a good idea.
please make the choice. if you really feel the need to drink, drink some beer or wine or something - something light. dont start off on such a strong note, it could hurt you in the long run.
good luck

Why don't you stop and get yourself something simple like a wine cooler... That way you won't have to find out the downside of getting wasted, and have to experience an encounter with cousin url.
Then you can feel sociable... and still not have worry on finding out how bad it sucks overdoing it on the liquor. But don't drink too many, (wouldn't do more than 2) because wine coolers are notorious for stomach aches.

if you have never had alchohol i would NOT drink what you have listed...
if you really want to: i would try ONE drink- of mostly coke or juice with a shot of rum or vodka- something clear and 'normal' a shot should be measured- as pouring it by eye will not work if everyone else is REALLY drinking... or you can try a beer-winecooler-smirnoff ice.... the smirnoff ice variations may be your best bet as they arent TOO fruity or 'gross' tasting...
IF YOU DO CHOSE TO DRINK- do not drink more than one type of different drinks.. that is a good way to have it effect your body more than it normally would...
personally i would not recommend drinking much for your first time-- especially with other young people at a party... you never know what could happen. (i'm not saying to drink with your parents because that might be insane- but you could always try it at a small gathering of people that you trust with your life)
good luck...
