If blood is "gushing" out, not likely to be hemorrhoids. Sounds much more likely to be a GI bleed. Especially if you have noticed clotting. I have seen many people end up in the ICU from GI bleeds. I wouldn't suggest waiting. Go into the ER now. I don't like to use scare tactics, but you could bleed out very quickly if blood is "gushing out" and you are noticing clots.

Could be a number of things but if hemmroids there can be bleeding but didn't think that much you could have torn a vein or there is a problem with your colon. This can be as minor as hemmroids or serious if colon involved. Were it me I definitely would not wait that long for if serious it can get very serious in a month and a half. There are conditions (serious) that can be cured BUT has to be caught early but if left too long ????I'd just go now to Emergency where they will determine cause and at least you'll know and what treatment is required.

I am curious what color and consistency the blood was, if it was clotty, then you need to got the hospital. This is serious, can cause a rapid decrease in your blood counts and may increase your need for a blood transfusion if you wait too long. If it was bright red, only on the toilet paper and there is pain associated with passing your bowels, then it is probably a hemorrhoid and you should be seen by your doctor.

A friend of mine tore his colen/bowels during a difficult movement and because of the area and the fequency of its use the wound took a long time to heal. Also bear in mind, bacteria lives in that area and may becausing some infection. Doctor is a good idea.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/UTZAJ
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.

Bright blood indicates localized, fresh bleeding and probably originates from the rectal area (external bleeding)--not serious, just need more fiber in your diet. Alternately, dark blood indicates old blood draining from somewhere inside the body (internal bleeding)--seriously need to check things out with a doc if it's the latter condition.

Sometimes, a lot of blood in your stool can mean you have e-coli. There was a big scare about it a couple of months ago in spinach, and I've heard about it being in lettuce, and beef. Just somethingnto think about. They can't really do anything about it except let it run its course. It can cause kidney failure though, so definitely get to a doctor.

Could be a number of things. Constipation can cause some blood, but it sounds like you may have something else going on in there.
Have it checked out asap!
